I have installed TB Testimonials on a site on which I’m working. When I first go to the page, it looks fine. However, when I go to another page on the site and come back to the testimonials page, the testimonials no longer display the name of the person being quoted and their company. Also each testimonial has:

above it, even when I’m not logged into the site. All other plugins have been disconnected but that doesn’t help nor did reloading WordPress. The Testimonials page is the only one causing problems.

This incredibly frustrating, any suggestions? Here’s the site: http://network1.stroudassociates.com/testimonial-category/law-firms-legal/

Thanks.

Hi there,

When I first go to the page I do not see any author information or anything I just see the testimonial and the the ‘Filed Under’ stuff that you mention. I noticed that you’re linking directly to the taxonomies/categories for the testimonial category pages so the output for that is being handled by your theme’s taxonomy.php. You can create your own template file named taxonomy-tbtestimonials_category.php and that will be used instead. OR you could create some pages under the testimonials page (children of)  and then use the shortcode to display testimonials per the category the page represents. Doing it that way also gives you the abililty to have urls like /testimonials/law-firms etc instead of having to use /testimonial-category/law-firms.

Another advantage of using the shortcode to display your testimonials is that you have access to the built in template engine and can create different templates for different categories if needed.

Hope that helps,Travis Ballard

Thanks Travis, I’ll pass it along to my programmer.
